The reason why this method is common is that there is good aeration.

Ebb-flow systems are mostly used when people are carrying different hydroponic activities back at home. This system can be constructed easily using any construction material that may be laying around. The drip system is the most common type of hydroponic system used by many farmers around the world. This is a very easy concept which requires very few parts yet it is effective and very versatile. Here people just drip nutrient solutions on different plant roots so as to keep the roots moist.
